Pinto Engine Mount

Hi Guys,

Whilst removing my engine, I had to sacrificed one of the engine mounts. It is a round style rubber one, with a threaded bolt coming out of the top and bottom. (I think this is a standard sierra one?)

The local auto factors near me want £50+VAT for one!!!!!!!!!!!

The engine is a 1.6 ohc, 1991 J plate.

If anyone has one, may I relieve you of it, for sensible money? (Please!)

Yours hopefully,

Trevor.

Hi,

Thanks for your potential offer, I have now found a motor factors who can get one in for tomorrow at £30 all in, so for sheer speed alone, I think I will use them. (If its the right part!)

I should be able to get the engine and 'box in this weekend then.

Thanks anyway,

Trevor.

Hi

The mountings from my engine were broken as well so instead of getting the expensive hydra mounts i gonna use these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

just hope they fit

Marcus

probably too small, from what i remember from the capri engine bay, but you may be able to boost their height if the threaded regions are large enough (diameter & length).
