Coil Pack Help Wanted

I have a megajolt which uses a fiesta coil pack wasted spark, which i understans fires 2 plugs at a time i.e. one spark is wasted. In the sierra it came from the coil pack was low down at the front in my series 3 it is next to the pedal box so i have to swap leads round to fit no problem but the correct conections are causing some issues.

The engine is not running yet.

coil pack is numbered 1,2,3,4, the leads are numbered 1,2,3,4

Lead 1 is on coil 4

lead 2 is on coil 3

lead 3 is on coil 2

lead 4 is on coil 1

in this configuration on the donor car

Lead 1 (long) to rear of engine

lead 4 (short) to front (cam belt end)

Now lead numbering is imaterial its just a guide in this case, however

lead no.1 will have to go to the front of the engine

lead no. 4. will have to go to.

The question? can i just transpose the leads?

1 to 4

4 to 1

2 to 3

3 to 2

or should i also swap coil out puts as well?

Plug 1 can connect to coil pack terminal 1 or 4.

Plug 4 can connect to coil pack terminal 1 or 4.

It doesn't matter.

Likewise plugs 2 & 3 can go to coil 2 & 3 or 3 & 2.

The fun starts when you try to work out which of the low tension leads fires 1 & 4 and which fires 2 & 3 so that megajolt is firing the two cylinders that are at TDC not at BDC.
