luckily the stuff is that gloopy, the stirer part stays where you leave it and you can simply screw it back on

those instructions may as well have been written in hieroglyphics for all the sense they made to me! I just pulled the two bits apart and squirted a bit of each out onto some card and mixed them well. It seems to have done the trick tho, no more petrol dripping out of the bottom of the tank!
