Like many others, I put these figures on my SVA application: Front 450kg, Rear 600kg, Total 1050kg

I've ordered some Gixer mirrors and I'm hoping they're going to turn up on time.

If not, I'll be making up some brackets like Jamie has suggested in order to get the RH ones nearer to me and higher up.

start cracking on tonight and sort out the edges .

 

Dont know how to resolve the design weight I am sure they have made a mistake as no way would this end up over the 450kg. I wish I took more notice of the actaul weights. Will call him and see.

my laden weight calcs at SVA were` as `follows-

 

front 410 .66

rear 473.34

gross 884

Have a look at this thread. There's a post at the bottom with a photo that shows you how I extended my mirror stalks for SVA. At test, the field of vision was so good the examiner didn't need to test the (centrally mounted) rear view mirror.
