The latest news appears to say that Kubica has concussion and a sprained ankle.

Apparently Anthony Davidson (Super Aguri) was forced to pit on lap 37 after hitting a beaver - unfortunately his pit crew were not ready for him. He went on to finish 11th.

Good to hear the national anthem at the presentation - but why don't they play it twice

Kubica is one lucky guy after a smash like that, I was thinking its Imola 94 all over again when the car came to a stop and he didn't move.

 

He was released from hospital at noon on Monday, and drove himself away in a BMW X5 and if he is given the all-clear by the FIA after more test he will race in this weekend’s US Grand Prix.

its a testement to how strong these cars are the tub to withstand the forces of that crash must be incredibly strong.

the f1 management are i think wrong to pull this as it shows the improvement that f1 is making to safty.

not only in racing but eventualy in road cars.
