Halfords Trade Card

Just been browsing at my local Halfords, (Broadstairs) for some cutting compound and couldn't find any, (for helping drilling the stainless). I asked the parts manager if they stocked it and he asked what I needed it for. Told him I was building a kit car etc, and I just sort of asked whether I would qualify for a trade card - expecting the old require proof, only trade etc scenario.......

 

But no, he just said he'll sort one out, it's normally only for the trade, but as he is the manager it is at his discretion, so he issued it there and then, no id required, just filled out the form at the desk and signed the back of the card.

 

On average 20% off all parts etc, but it depends what you buying. The discount doesn't apply to electrical and fancy trim stuff, bikes and accessories or polish, but everything else is up for grabs.

 

Very helpful chap i'd say, it pays to ask!
