Attempted Tintop Break In

The father in in law has had his drivers door lock screwdrivered. It doesnt seem

like the poor misunderstood souls who need more of our understanding, actually

got into the car but the lock is a bit wobbly and pulled out.

Has anyone got any quick fix suggestions for this?

(the lock that is, not the scumbags)

Thanx

Sealey tools sell a Door Lock Repair Tool that may help you out

I wish I'd had one of those previously - would have saved a lot of time hunting in the depths of the garage for suitable thick washers when trying to sort out damage to Fiestas and Novas and a Chevette owned by my lot !!!

I tried one of those before.. it helped but wasn't great. I remember I had to do a bit of shaping myself with a hammer & punch first & then put this on then used filler primer & sprayed it to get back to 100%.
