Well, for anyone interested, we finally did it.

 

On Saturday the 12th July, 273 EVOs lined up for a couple of laps of Castle Combe circuit for our world record attempt.

 

We finally (after a couple of teething problems) made a good circuit and the lady from the Guinness book of records gave us the thumbs up.

 

It was a fantastic day and also night for some of us as the circuit owners had agreed for us to camp trackside too.

 

So come on then, it's pretty simple to do, we need a minimum of 150 cars to set a record and I reckon from some of the meets we could easily do that.

 

Start a list and see where it goes from there.

Just a little update here.

 

The SIDC (Subaru Impreza Drivers Club) achieved two world records on Sunday the 31st with 1086 cars.

 

1) Largest parade of Subaru cars.

 

2) Largest gathering of Subaru cars.

woohoo, three robin hood in the smae place at the same time. now thats got to be really close to the world record for most RH's in one place at one time.

There's no need to beat anyones record, no-one has the "largest parade of vehicles" as Guinness will not certify it.

 

The evo one is "Largest parade of Mitsubishi vehicles"

 

The Scooby one is "Largest parade of Subaru vehicles"

 

The minimum amount Guinness will certify though is 150. That's all we have to get to get a world record.
