Drilling Jets

Cheers Mitch.

Getting the float bowls off has been a mission with 9 of the 12 screws being seized and spinning out in the middle.

But i dremeled two flat sides to each screw and used grips to free them. Think ill need to source some hex bolts out

meant to add, remove the screws and fit proper ones, there bloody hard to get out, tightend to buggery, and easily knackered(yes Jim tighter than even i do them), mine replaced with cap heads.

I work on old bikes... it's standard practice to use a impact driver on them, the type you whack with a club hammer, works great.

Drilling jets is not really recommended on bikes unless you have a specific jet drill & a jig... better to buy new jets in the right size but on the car motor the difference might not be as critical from using an ordinary drill etc.
