Unf Bolts

I require 2x 2" (50mm) 7/16" UNF bolts or sets in 8.8 grade or better for seat belt mounts that have turned out a tad deeper than intended,thanks Bob.

I haven't used them myself but £0.73 per bolt looks good, they are grade S not sure if this matters as it seems to be the same strength as 8.8 @ 50-55 Tons/Inch².

If it's for the seat belt mounts then M12 grade 8.8 is perfect and they're a lot easier to get hold of.

This is the people i use just be carefull of the size of the unf and unc as they quote inside diameter of nuts as a measurement and i ordered some very big nuts instead of 1/2 across flats

That's the standard way of quoting sizes for nuts and bolts. 1/2" across the flats would be a 5/16" nut/bolt.

 

Namrick are OK but pricey. I use a local place called Lawsons and I'd expect to be paying maybe 20p for a pair of bolts the size you're after. It often makes me laugh when I go in to ask for something unusual and the guy says "it'll be pricey" whilst he's totalling up the price - they then ask for something like three pounds for a hundred of whatever size of bolt I'm after.
