Cam Cover Baffle

Andi

Recommended Posts

Nothing is ever straight forward.

Ive removed the old cam cover to find out i have the narrower type gasket as a replacement

and also the new cover has no baffle in it (the old one looks welded in place so thats me out).

Would I be ok to continue with what ive got or is it a no no.

Thanks

Andi

Don't weld it on chrome.... I don't believe the baffle being missing will cause too many issues as long as you have the right cap & don't run the engine with the cap off but I stand to be corrected! :D

Get the right gasket to fit the cover / head.
