anybody had any experience with kirkey ali race seats? thinking of using these with the optional padding set but wondered if they wer sturdy enough to fit long term?

are they particularly comfy?

Kirkey seats are widely used by the stock car boys I know. Shouldn't be any problem structurally but be aware that oval track seats may have more support (and headrests) on the right hand as this is the side that generally requires the most protection. They might well not be the most comfortable for extended use, probably best to try and sit in one if you can.

Plenty of Superstock and F2 meetings up you way, might be worth a trip to one of the meetings or maybe give Randall's a call in Wisbech as they stock Kirkey.

cheers richyb66,

they're also a good price at £120 each with the padded seat cover.

i have seen them before and i believe these ones are symetrical in design.

it's either these or try to find a cheap set of GRP seats. Tillet want between £400 to £900 each!!!

tiger racing and kitparts direct both want £110 each but thier design is not pretty and thay have no padding.

may try westfield as theirs look nicer but will probably cost more.

if you're after a cheap seat the bargain basement bit on the tiger website has some toger seat pad sets for not much money at all. i was looking at them until the cobras came up for sale at a silly price.

but might not fit with the look of your car.

hi swan jr,

not looking for just cheap but also really supportive and light weight for track days etc...

dont think seat pads alone would do for that application.

cheers, robin

That another list of body parts I will have to sell. (human)
