V6 Pickup Pipe

Does anyone have any ideas how best to shorten this v6 pick up pipe. Needs to be about 40mm so I can't' just cut it and weld a bit lower.

Any help would be appreciated.

What diameter is the curved pipe? would it be possible to use a plumbing bend instead, the bend rad. is usually only x1 with these fittings. Cut & drill/ream as necessary then silver solder.

I'd have to measure it but it must be around 20 - 30mm od

Then a 22mm O/D fitting may suit, or possibly a 22mm M & F fitting; they don't have to be used as intended.
