Alloy Bonnet

Hi chaps.

could i use 1mm alloy sheet for a bonnet maybe with a few braces.

You can, may be a bit flimsy in practice.

You will need hoops back and front with front to back bracing

It will be O.K with braces until a mis-placed hand or bum dents it & the ribs show through like a half-starved dog (other animals are available) GO STAINLESS 0.7mm stands up to day-to-day wear & tear.
