Hi there people.

My name is marcus ,i live in barnsley south yorkshire.

Ive decided its time for a mid life crisis

Im gonna get myself a summer toy,now i know its nearly over so will be getting one for next year.

Being the kind of guy i am i always get info on a future purchase, so im looking to see if you guys

can give me info on what i should be looking out for on a future purchase,any known weak spots ,problems.

Places to get parts from and good companies to deal with

Whats all this IVA/SVA malarky too.

Any good or bad points on buying a Q plated car ?

If your after a car and this is in budget you will not find a better car the level of craftman ship that has gone in to it is fantastic. If i was in the market for a car it would be sitting in my garage this weekend.

I was hoping for a bit more info on the questions i asked than just plugs

 

To be honest guys, not looking to purchase this year maybe beginning of next,gotta sell this years toy first.

 

When im ready to buy ill be sticking up a wanted and a budget.cheers

If you build a Kit you will need to go through an IVA test and then get registered though the dvla

 

If you use a donor and a Kit you will get an age related plate.

 

If you use a donor, a kit and a motorbike engine you will get a Q plate.

 

Some people don't mind Q plates, they tend to mean that the parts haven't come from a single source.
