Gear Knobs ?

being the type of person i am i cant leave anything alone on a car i have to change it for something better or just diffrent.

so to that end i have a new knob for my gearstick.or is it a red herring

what have any of you chaps fitted and is it just functional or decrotive as well

ps it is a made up one,in wood,painted and laquered to look metal

whilst not being an expert on reptiles I thought the robin hood connection was very good as it looks like a Hooded cobra

it was a very rough wooden knob bought at detling,with a bit of dremeling and sanding and paint i think it came out ok

ps it cost a fiver

Mines a chrome skull with red eyes bought by a friend as he thinks it'll go with the cars new image. Not quite sure what he's on about though..........

I started to modify one of those yellow one piece practice golf balls.

Unfortunately at Detling I saw a RH with one fitted - looked OK.

So I binned my prototype, will try to come up with something original - until then will stick with Uncle Henry's supplied item.

No but Rizla just might bite he sounds like he’s getting rather protective about the cobra

Mines pink! used to be red but has faded with age and use,

so it must just be the gear knob then.

I've been given a gear knob from an RS Focus (6 speed!!!) that should confuse people!!! (probably me as well!)

I bought a horse shapped one from the same stall at Detling, but it was so that I could play a practical joke on someone and swap the gearknob on their car over for this one.

havn't done it yet but i'm gunna take an 8 ball from me pool set + make that in to a gear knob,
