Hi guys, need to know how this section of the interior should be finished, any pics of your cars would be a big help. Car is a Sierra based s7

What do you mean when you say finished. I would look at boxing it all in so the weather etc can't get in!

yeah its one of those annoying areas. for mine i made a kind of half circle shape that goes across and fits tight into the side panel curve. the inner side then has a 1 inch 90 degree bend to connect it to the back panel bit the comes forward you can see in your picture.

 

basically its a flat ally plate to cover the hole

 

seems to work ok its not perfectly sealed on mine but could always run sealant around the edge against the side panel or even do tags on the curved edge to get the sealant to really hold.

its just a folded cover bolted through floor and rear bulkhead with M4's
