One Of Those "did I Really Do That?" Moments

I thought I would just get the car out of the garage to "Air" it a bit and clean the garage.

 

Then I realised I could tighten up a minor coolant leak and so on.

 

I then thought about testing the brakes - hard.

 

Of course - I forgot about all the loose screws and opened socket set sitting on the battery shelf ....

 

I then spent the next half hour finding all these bits to ensure I hadn't missed any that had fallen

into the engine bay !!

 

One of those D'Oh moments

Even better when you drop something, then think "i'll just start the car up to move out of the way" and as you're reversing you hear a crunch.

Then fire the computer up to order a new 1.

Many moons ago I drove over a sealed 1 litre plastic bottle of oil.....full up obviously.

What an explosion, all over next doors car, the bosses flower garden, my drive...

 

Tooks three cans of GUNK and all afternoon to clean it up....mostly...
