Classic Car And 18Yr Old Learner On Insurance

My 18yr old daughter wants to start learning to drive. I was thinking about getting a Morris Minor (one that will last for a year or two before needing any major work on it- I need a project after finishing my RH), and adding her to the insurance policy - so that she can learn in it too.

Would the premiums be sky high (as for tin-tops)?

Is this a really stupid idea?

Thanks,

-Steve

First sentence may be risky; :80: times & dates would be a useful safety aid for other road users. :search: Please sign your eldest into a driving school with you only adding extra practise hours;was how my two were trained; :help: but a while ago now so insurance woes may be worse/better??
