From reading your first post, do you still have the choke fitted? It probably needs to be wired fully open.

 

Lots of useful info here http://how-to-build-.../fueling-system re mods for these carbs. (I know the guy and he does know what he's talking about)

its fitted on a push pull cable, if only it was that easy

update stripped carb and found 2 possable issues, 1/ float height was wrong both open and closed 2/ jelly like stuff in one float bowl cleaned out and reset float heights and it seem to be ok
