Type 9 Gearbox Mounting Cup

Has anyone got a mounting cup for a type 9.

i have one,,,,, (in the workshop .... somewhere)

before you fit one though, you may want to consider the catering van item ??? not quite the same bolt holes, but similar and a lot stiffer than a sierra one thats 30 year old

 

you have to modify the fixing a bit... not sure how bad on a zero, easy on a 2b

For that price seems rude not to change the whole item. Guess its just a case of bolting it on and drilling holes??

Changed my 2b to one of those. Stopped my engine and gearbox slopping around really well. Got mine from Westfield and it is identical but it looks like they are more expensive than Caterham...........not often you can say that!

they are different dimensions.....

trying to find the picture i took of them along side each other

narrower, and lower as i recall

still looking......
