Drl Style Led Head Lights - Any Good?

Hi, I was thinking of fitting these to my Superspec 05;

From a cosmetic point, do they look good or spoil a car?

The projectors on mine give really good light, but are very expensive road track race sell them for £99 each

Once my car passes IVA I am going to buy a set from CBS http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/product/All_In_One_Headlamp_All_Chrome_ALLIN13 a winter project that can wait.

 

Personal opinion I think they are perfect.

i think these are the same as the ones on kit spares but a bit cheaper see link below.

I went for some ultra bright LED's from Fleabay Approx 50mm dia. Look a bit different and fit in well without looking out of place (Under the front indicators see below photo) Almost as bright as the headlamps.... You can now almost see me before you can hear me...

Just to let you all know, I visited Great British Sports Cars this morning to see the DRL Lights - they looked very good on the cars in the workshop so I brought a set with the black casing.

 

When I have them fitted I post a pic here so you can see the result, I'm having the arches and nose cose sprayed Lotus yellow this weekend, GBSC are going to be powder coating the windscreen surround in black next week.

 

The car will be transformed in 2 weeks, can't wait!

Update - I had a good look at the DRL's when I got home, did not suit the car so I tool them back!

 

The look great on a Zero, but not a 2b...

Looks very cool, I am changing colours of the nose (yellow) and arches (BRG), bit too modern for my look :-(
