Mot Test With Different Engine Present

engine number checks are not part of the test, don't you think we have enough to look at

is it same test as it would be for a standard car then obviously age related plate depends on how much gets done?and if i got a 1.8 pinto and changed it for a 2.0 pinto you would not no lol as they look same he he

Just had another read of the MOT manual thingy and it states any kit car or amateur built vehicle first used before 1st August 1998 are to be a visual check only for emissions - with my car being an A reg and as mark said that was 1983 my car should be a visual check only! nice, makes the MOT test a bit easier to prepare for if I have read it correctly
