Nissan Turbo Upgrade

Hi some of you might know I'm fitting a Nissan ca18dat turbo engine to my zero and I would just like to post an update to this project.

 

Today I open the garage and found the engine exactly where I left it.

 

That's this weeks update

At least you found it! I open the garage door and I am presented with a mound of crap and somewhere underneath it is the Hood! Time for another skip!

New update.......

 

Opened the garage again and found the engine exactly where it was last time and also found my coffee cup sitting on the cam cover which I thought was lost for good.

i bet you have already put the engine in and got it running !

I reckon he's probably telling the truth Dan, to be fair.

You know he'd never fit the whole engine in one go. It'll be done in stages and finished off bit by bit at the shows.

And never finish the bonnet. Just more holes.....

With how tall those Jap lumps are I reckon the bonnet will be more hole than aluminium!

I had to shorten the sump by about 1.5" to sit in my 2B.

Exhaust down pipe could be shorter ( from the turbo down).

Engine currently in rebuild.!! Watch out for the big ends going.....
