Err, I was there actually - arrived after you and Chris had left, sadly. looks like I just missed you. According to the gate man, you were parked by the MGs. And my journey was done on the motorcycle, in the p1ss1ng rain and all I got to show for it was a sore arse and lots of cold.

 

Next time we try something like this let's share mobile numbers and carry the phones. I might have gone to Chris's place if I'd known where it was (well, I do have his address but I didn't take it with me.

 

All that said the whole event looked like a total disaster attandance wise and the stationary (I guess steam) engines in particular looked pretty pathetic up there on their own. Poor old codgers.

 

On the other hand, the gateman said he thought your cars did look very special.

From what I understand about 5 sevens have turned up at the Dell today,

better weather,better turnout by the public.Good on you chaps,sorry I couldnt make both days but other commitments have kept me busy.
