Engine turns over OK, but does not fire!

I did have it jacked up at the rear, could I have caused an air blockage?

It sure seem like fuel starvation, I checked the fuel pump and it pumps up to the vapour separator (not quite sure what's that for), this looks like a sealed unit could there a blockage in that?

The carburettor is a Weber with a Pinto 2.0 litre

Think you need to go back to basics, have you got spark at plugs, if yes its probably fuel related if no its ignition, ect. then work way back through components.

Check for spark

Check fuel getting to carb - disconnect fuel hose from carb and hang it into a bucket as you crank

Make sure you have a live to the fuel cut off valve on the carb

Lastly, loosen retaining bolt on dizzy and rotate dizzy slowly as someone else cranks engine until it fires into life. Then do up retaining bolt. Will need setting properly with a timing strobe later on but will get it started.
