2.0 Pinto Wanted Soon

As in title - have decided to ditch the crappy 1984 1.6e-max motor from my 2B.

 

I will be looking for a good condition - nice running 2 litre to slot in and connect to the 5 speed box in the next 2-4 weeks or so. I'm happy to spend 18 months getting the chassis nice but I can't be bothered building an engine for it too.

 

So if anybody has something or knows of one coming up for sale soon I'd be very grateful. I'm willing to spend decent money for the right motor (already tuned would be even better)

Where are you based? Wouldn't mind the emax as a spare for a future project.

I'm not far from you at all - Rugby, Junction 1 of the M6.

 

I recieved the motor already fitted in the chassis - the previous owner doesn't know its history either, all he did was put some oil down the bores. I haven't even tried to turn it over as I've only had the car for just over a week so don't know what conditon its in. It looks cleanish though and the block has been painted blue (maybe has had a clean up and rebuild?)
