Air Filter Warning

I fitted an after market air filter and the vibration has loosened a bolt and washer oops but lucky the bolt stayed in the air filter but the washer went in the engine oops was not the word but as luck has it I have stripped the head of the car as there was a rattle since the washer went in there and fingers crossed no damage lucky bleep bleep I seem so new head gasket tomoz and inlet gasket with rocker gasket to fit then on holiday sat morning then home on Friday then Newark on sat oh and spark plugs as squashed the end on pot one,but did comp test before strip and all was 150 so new there was valve damage just need to find the washer which was not there mmmm so checked the spark plug it had a loose part and think that was the rattle but better safe than sorry.rant over lol

well all sorted and up and running again yeee new haed gasket set only cost 9.50 plus vat bonus.

Should have fitted a felpro or similar while you had the head off!

did not want to waste time duck I am away sat till Friday so wanted car done for Newark lol but did another compression check and all was 150 again so not too worried.but used blue locktite this time round too

Nope I was probably being blind but didn't spot it and by 3pm father in law had enough so didn't get chance to look for you. Where were you parked?

Har har! I meant where in the stand. Have a feeling I may have walked past you/the car at one point. I was in the z3 on the stand.

did not see a z3 but was walkng about most of day it was parked to the right of the stand as you looked from the front

Front row? If so I walked straight passed it! Z3 was parked by the tent.

think it was second row to start with then front row so possibly walked straight past lol got a few bits to sort on it now but hopefully will make donnington for the day.
