There's no substitute for capacity as tuners say and true for silencers as well. 7" diameter and as long as will fit in the space. Martin Keenan can make a good can to order. Another trick is to add an expansion box in front of your current silencer. Has an excellent effect and neither of the above is a power robbing bodge just for IVA. In the long run a quieter car will be more pleasant for you, the driver.
