Would suggest re-doing that with a grommet in the hole & maybe (belt & braces) twin core & sleeved wiring.

The grommet, yes, although sikaflex is probably the same effect.

 

As for sleeved wiring - not really for the inside as the tubing is the conduit, but for the outside part, I would agree.

 

(Normal electrical conduit is only wired in single sleeved cable - and that's good for mains and three phase voltages)

Thanks mark but mine are cobra hoops and was hoping to fit on to the apex of the bend
