Design Laden Weights?

What have people put for the laden weight and axles etc? The original donor weights or made them up roughly for the Zero?

 

Is Gross/Curb Weight an estimate if you can't get it weighed?

I don't have the figures for a Zero but it will be more than you think

Must include driver & passenger weight (aprox 75Kg x 2) and 2x luggage at 25Kg I think

With all fluids, the above weights, tools hood spare oil, petrol, water it can add 250Kg to the bare weight

My 3a has a design weight of 900 but weighs 700, most 2b's have design weight of 1100 to 1200

So for the sake of the IVA paperwork, could the design weights be carefully guesstimated? I can't see too much problem as I don't plan on overloading the car...do I need to prove where the numbers came from?

I seem to recall putting 650kg and 450kg when I did my Zero but can't remember which value for which axle?

Someone will know for certain.

The values are used more to assess the braking values for the IVA test and just simply printed on the eventual V5.

The peeps at DVLA who fill in your V5 probably won't even know what kg means anyway mate let alone an axle!

Haha oh right I see. I've gone for the MX5 weights, 1200kg gross, 50/50 split. Might change that quickly before the letter gets dropped in the post! I'd be fairly confident in saying the Zero is not entirely 50/50 and more front heavy now.
