Winter Works

Winter in the garage is sorted, thank God for a quilted boiler suit!

  • Sort out a really annoying squeak from the rear suspension
  • Stop the sump from weeping, the weep is only when the engine is cold
  • Sort a small leak from the rear diff end plate flange
  • Resolve binding front o/s brake
  • Redesign the inlet for the fuel tank - i'm p'd off with it taking ages to fill the tank
  • Fit taller windscreen & modify wipers to suit
  • Fit a quieter fuel pump
  • Fit new front arches, grind welds smooth on arch supports (still not done this Robin!) and paint
  • Fit new steering wheel

Should keep me busy for a few week-ends!

the only thing that gets baffled is Alan :vava: :vava:

All too easily these days Phil - anyway you never said you're in Margate on the 26th Nov: http://www.theatrero...=content/jethro

MIck, good pointer with the breather. I've one fitted already with a vent valve, plus I also have the unleaded insert (had to for IVA) that has the ring of holes around it. I'll fit another breather as well, will be cheaper and easier than chopping and welding the tank, it's ally!!

Cheers

Al
