After a set of Compomotive CXR or R500 alloys, anyone got anything?

My "man on the inside" (ex-Compomotive) says it's unlikely they'll ever do runs of the CXR again. As you probably know, they went bust last september but the owners kept a lot of hidden stock and have re-setup, but apparently their plans are to bring in cheap rims from the far east under the compomotive name. If they've got old stock of teh CXR you might be lucky, but otherwise second hand might be your only option. Team Dynamics have launched a light-weight rim, apparently (something to do with some ex-Compo guys going to work for them, perhaps !?)

 

As mentioned at club the other night, I get my Team Dynamics rims through Johnny Milners setup oop north, Merlin International - http://www.merlininternational.co.uk/. Hopefully Derek up there can sort you out with a good price if you do decide to go the TD route.

Oh pee. Will look at team dynamics range then. I did look at 4 new 13x6 r500 wheels but mrsduck choked when she saw the price...
