No only kidding, I think it means pre SVA requirement.

Pre-Lit=Pre Litigation, e.g. it was a model VERY similar to the original Lotus/Caterham 7 until they took out a copyright on the shape and sued everyone. Something like that anyway is my understanding.

Usualy used with reference to Westfields produced before Cateringvan took them to court for too close a resemblance. As a result Westies had to redesign to look different to Cateringvans. As we all know there's now no way any member of the general public could be confused. So that's all sorted then.

Nigel I think Robinhood were involved in the same case

I thought they were all separate suits. Can't quite follow how Cateringvan could sue two separate firms in one action for copyright breach. I think the action against Westies went their way and they then found the rest willing to negotiate so did not need to litigate further.

I have never heard of a pre lit Hood. It implys RHE were taken to court and I think it was only threatened.
