So found out both starter and battery dieing , got new battery , got new high torque starter , both fitted remade a few iffy joints ,turned key ,thought engine would jump out,starterbrill but no start all cons checked found had connected feed to coil on wrong side [pi--ock ! ] looks as if its goosed the distrib module waiting for email from Accuspark for availability and price ,so not a happy mowerman almost to stage of either firing it or catching the local pikey scrap man to take it away mick :aggressive:

It would prove that the dist' module was at fault.

i once killed a module too. was a cheap fix iirc mick. don't panic. easy sorted.

You best not fire that car because you love it and giving it to the local travellers isn't on because you need that car. However if you want to get rid, I know of an exmo with a poorly engine that might be up for swaps......

MAGIC !!!!!!!! got amodule from Accuspark this afternoon put it in , carefully wired up hit the button away it goes, hump removed immeadiatly!!!, had a quick 15 mile purtle smile replaced grump , happy mowerman!!! Tatton park sunday [ weather permiting]
