Abs Removal

I'm looking at the possibility of removing the ABS from the Mx5 donor car due to the extra work required to get the ABS transferred (spacial requirements) and set up, I was wondering if removing it would cause any issues other than a fault code and setting the light off on the dashboard - solved by removing the bulb

Would cause a problem if you intend to MOT the MX5

It's going into the Zero, the MX5 shell will be scrapped or sold on if I find a buyer for the chassis in time.

 

Zero didn't have ABS so shouldn't cause an issue with the MOT. I am more worried about the effects maybe on the ECU or some form of fail safe built in electrically?

Don't think you want ABS in the Zero, also don't believe the mx5 ECU and the ABS module are connected in any way.
