anybody know what power gains I would be looking at if I fitted kent cams on a standard head cant find information anywhere

Kent usually show power gains for fast road cans

Usually about 16bhp

More radical cams need more compression to work

I have tried looking for the information on kent cams but none available and for nearly £500 just for the camshafts and nothing else I would like to know wot im getting for that

I used to look at upgrades as individual increases in power but to honest they are all linked

4 branch exhaust, multiple carbs, cams, rolling road for spark and fuel

Thin gasket or head skim

All cams with a longer duration than standard need a bit more compression

its a blacktop I think for the small increase as rob says it aint worth the effort

Mine will be dyno.d soon at which point i will have before and after figures, i was getting 175bhp before so we shall see what the fz2002 cams give. The engine the head came off gave 196bhp owlman will confirm this as it was his.
