Red, just a thought on your tyre choice.

 

I ran 205's on my 3A. Great fun in the dry, but once the road gets damp they slide like a B****rd, great fun if that is what you are planning to do. When it got seriously wet the car would float down the road on 205's. They are top wide for such a light car in the rain. Stick to 185 or 195 for much better handling on a light car

Yes, I agree. look at the wheels the old Lotus 7 ran, they looked like bike wheels compared with todays taste in rubber.

these do mail order, then its finding a local fitter to put them on, i was charge a £5 per wheel inc balencing

I'm having 539's fitted today to replace my 195/50/15 Ventus tyres. They are only 1/3 part worn and for normal use they are fine. I intend to do more track days so they are a bit hard for me.

If anyone wants to collect them they are free to a good home.

I'm gonna get my 15" rims back from the shotbalasters soon - if the tyres are still available that would be great !! Just the size i will be looking for if i ever get a kit !!

 

Will buy you a drink or three or lunch at the next herts meet ( or i may be on holiday ?) but will sort somet out for you.
