Under the thread ... 'A Few Photographs From Stoneleigh' ... I have put 5 posts, each containing a few photographs from the 'weekend' just gone.

p.s. Impossible request ... but ... when I arrived home and unpacked the car ... couldn't find my reading glasses!! Black frame ... anyone remember hearing a crunching sound as they probably drove over them on leaving the field?? Having to manage with an old £1 pair. Apologies for any smelling mistakes!

Yep, your glasses are safe and sound Alan, i believe Phil Shelton has them.

We found them when packing up Monday afternoon.

Yep... I remember everybody asking who they belong to.

If they need somebody to pick them up, then maybe Rich or myself can get them at the Leicester meet-up.

Nice one Dean ... I have sent Phil a message, with a photo of my glasses just to confirm whether they are mine or not.

 

If they are, and you or Rich are going to the Leicester meet, then collecting them on my behalf would be ace! I have checked my diary to see about attending the meet myself but am unable to get over there unfortunately ... it would have been a great opportunity otherwise.

 

If I receive the nod as to ownership of glasses being mine, I'll give you a shout. I could then collect them at our meet on 27th.

The only hiccup there could be ... it's our wedding anniversary ... not certain that June would consider the meet to be on her list of 'special' venues! See what I can do ...

June has just reminded me that we may not even be in the country on 27th ... not booked ferry yet, but she is planning a route through France, Italy, Austria, Germany and Belgium ... overlooked that in my excitement of the possibility of being able to read again!!

I was going to suggest dropping them off at your house (any excuse to get the kit out)

Bit concerned then ... I read you post as ... (any excuse to the kit off!!!!!) ... Re-read it and fortunately read it correctly.
