Can you use mount a fuel sender on the top of a fuel tank with countersunk (flush) Rivnuts? As long as you seal them in, and use thread sealant on the threads?

As long as they are sealed 100'/, they would be good.

Yes I have done this but I bought some cork gasket material from CBS at 2mm thick to put in between

works perfect -never had a problem
