Video Editing Software Recommendations?

As above. Does anyone have a recommendation for editing *.mov type files created by the sjcam sj-4000 video camera?

 

I would be interested in cutting / splicing and converting to other formats mostly.

Go-pro do one and it's free aswel.

Go pro only works fully on gopro footage as i found last night trying to edit some mivue accident cam footage. I used moviemaker

i use moviemaker and it's reasonably good. Also use one from NCH http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/but if i remember correctly it does ask you to upgrade and try and get you to download other nch stuff so read the install options if you try it.

 

Anyvideo converter is very useful as well as you can take your finished video and change it to whatever format you want.

 

Entirely up to you but i'd say if you want it to look more professional don't use every 'wipe' option they have between scenes. Just do a simple fade between. Star wipes should remain on early nineties you've been framed episodes where they belong
