Hi all I'm pretty sure my brake servo is leaking. Brakes don't feel amazing when pressed bit could have a bit of air in the system, so that needs attention

When I turn the car off get a hissing noise coming from the servo so I'm guessing a seal has gone

Unbolt M/Cyl from servo.

Refit M/Cyl where the servo was. you just need a longer push rod from pedal to M/Cly.

Bought mine from Tiger racing, around a tenner.

Braking sensation is a little strange at 1st but the feel is soo much nicer.

To check if your brakes need bleeding, don't start the engine.

Pump the pedal to get rid of any vacuum in the system then rest the pedal.

Depress the pedal again. If it is soft or spongy and goes a long way down you need to bleed them.

If it goes a long way down before solid resistance, ( net the floor) then it's possible your auto adjusters on the rear drums are not working.

There should not be any sucking sounds from the servo, when you release the pedal.

As others have put, remove servo. You will find it odd at first because the pedal will be much harder to press for the same breaking affect. When you are used to it you will be quite happy.
