2b Plus Floor Fitting

Recommended Posts

Just started the build and hit a little snag, I've tried the floor in and the holes for the rear subframe dont line up with the chassis. I know I have two options enlarge the holes or trim some of the floor in front of the subframe mounting plates. I thought I should ask as the "ZEUS" videos give no information about the floor location, if its too far back or forward I think I may have problems in the future lining up foot panels etc.

Thanks

Jez

The two holes at the back of the floor should align so that the bolt holes on the subframe are in the centre.

HTH if not, give me a ring and I'll try to explain it a little better ;)

Obvious I know, but make sure the floor is the right way up! When I got my kit from RHE it came with the floor provisionally fitted upside down. The handbrake should be in the passenger's footwell.

Can you not trial fit the parts that meet them the other end.... I wouldn't know so just an idea

You should then be able to tell whether you need to cut it as you have sufficient material left at the other end or whether you need to "slot" the holes.
