Have you had the cover plate off and looked inside the diff? Is there enough backlash on the ring/pinion teeth?

Not yet, first job before talking everything apart.

Bara motorsport did mine, they changed the viscose fluid and it now works as it should. Can now leave two black lines behind me ans do donuts. Not so good for the tyres thow

Had some garage time today and removed the old diff, unable to undo the cover bolts at this stage but confident it is the problem.


I cannot turn the pinion flange by hand and when I use a lever bar theres a very tight area. Acquired a spare so going to fit this one and then get the other diff upgraded to lsd for winter project. Hopefully have test drive tomorrow.
