I'm after a new distributor for my 2L pinto, its running a Kent FR31 cam and a standard Weber 32/36 DGAV carb. At the moment its got I believe an original bosch electronic distributor with vacuum advance fitted but I'm after something with a modified advance curve to better suit the non standard cam. I see Burton sell modified points distributors but I don't really want to go back to points seeing as I already have an electronic distributor. So does anyone know where I can get a modified distributor off the shelf or will I have to buy a standard one and have a go at modifying it myself?

Many people recommend Bestek near Crawley. I think if you tell him want you need he will sort it. I think he will also do a swap for a good price for your original one but don't quote me on that!
