Just been passed on the A30 in Plymouth by a silver Ferrari with the number PEN 1 S (without the spaces). Honest as I live and breath. Driven by someone rich and famous possibly and also a complete prat.

Interesting - Some time ago I was passed by a massive black 4-wheel drive vehicle with the registration PEN 15. Didn't see who was driving.

Sounds like that's Alasdair's massive black 4 wheel drive thing, PEN 15. If you substitute a S for the 5 do you get a silver Ferrari or vice versa. What is the RAC site? Can anyone check numbers?

I thougth that it was open to all provided they created themselves a login - I have one at home and I'm not a member of the RAC
