around to sorting out hanbreak mounting. the video shows a short section of angle used presumably just bolted to the floor.

has anyone any alternative suggestions can a longer section be used and this incorporate the seat bealt mounts? if so where to mount?

I did mine with a long section of the thinner angle iron across the whole length of the car, bolted to the chassis at the outer edges and the 2 centre chassis bars, and also holding the seats in place at the back. then a shorter piece of the chunkier angle to pick up the handbrake tensioners. This was OK for SVA but it failed because the handbrake tesioners were put at an angle and it would put stress on the cable. The cable needs to go through the angle at right angles to the angle iron so it wont wear through. i am changing this tonight as its just about the last job for the sva retest, will take some pics of (sort of) how not to do it if i can get my camera working to upload if it helps
