Failed :boohoo:

But mostly external protrusions and 2.5mm radius

Great bloke at sva centre !!! Very helpfull and very fair.

All points were noted and the only real problems were the seatbelt mounting points being too low and the sweep on the screen too small!!

The rest can be done in an evening if i crack on with it

Over all very pleased as no nasty surprises and mostly easy fixes

Watch this space!!

Well just loaded her up onto the trailer and noticed the handbrake has settled in and now fouls the body

will have to see what i can do before the test

It starts at 8 am wish me luck guys was over a year ago it failed and i have not checked the latest regs so i am not hopefull of a pass first off but a nice small lst would be ace..

Right in the mood to get this finished now so a few long evenings should see her ready for the road.

Poss gonna have to sell it when its roadworthy as i have a large skyline bill on the way too and one of them has to wait!! or go.......

watch this space for results tmrw

failed again!!!!!!!!!

good news though :D

Front left tyre different rating to the rest and not rated high enough.(my stupidity)

Visibilty on wing mirrors not met. (not big enough)

No interior mirror (again my stupidity forgot to fit it)

Rear left brake sticking on (seized up over winter)

Fuel line insecurely mounted (used those stupid sticky mounts on stainless)

and that was it B)

Again really cool bloke at test centre. got some good advice and allowed me to fix couple of little bits like headlight beam there and then.

going to get all done over the next week or so and retest by end of month.

woohoo on the road reaaly soon So whats the next step then ? Not researched that bit lol

If you have the V5 from the donor and matching engine numbers then you shouls get an age related, if the engine number does not match the V5 then send back to DVLA for an engine number change.

on the subject of V5s I surrendered mine to the DVLA in 1997 when the car was inspected and passed off as having enough donor bits to keep the D plate, as was the style at the time :)

no one in the DVLA knows what I'm on about when I go there although I still have the letter thanking me for the V5 and asking for a MOT to register it and also the VIN plate and a copy of the V5

What plate will I end up with?

I aint got a scoobs how it works now

Well !!!!! The restest is now booked for monday

Wish me luck guys!!!

Me being as sad as i am i did not realise that GBS now have the rights to all the hoody bits.

Glad some one took it on cos i may be biased but i must say i prefer the hood over many of the other sevens available.

Just the suspension issues on several models let it down. Budget pound for pound has to be the best one about

See ya all soon
