In the unimaginable land of money didn't matter I would get on with restoring my Triumph GT6 Mk2 and make better double wishbone rear suspenders with plunge CVJ's and have a real good think about a better 6 cylinder engine and box.

No seriously? I'd build a Robin Hood not because its the best car out there but its the best bunch to be with. (Fancy having to line up with all the prats in westies). No realy they're OK, one of my friends is a westie owner but you can't tell em apart! Hoi.

A Tiger Z100. Not the 4 wheel drive version.

Have been in it and I must be a bit of a boy racer at heart as I would love to see the look on the nova/corsa/escort/cavalier/mondeo boy racer establishment at traffic lights as I started up the second engine :p

and of couse the fact that it pull 0-60 in 3-ish seconds :D

Agreed,

although the major thing I think it's got going for it is the individuality and scope for putting your own taste into it. Still, if I had the money going spare, I'd see myself going for a cobra (although the missus says they've got 'funny faces' ).

Does budget = worse???

As far as the kits concerned, I think yes (and if you're honest I can't see many disagreeing), but certainly not the end product!

I have to admit I just love the GT40. If I had the reddies I would do one.

Either that or I would start from stratch and have a go at doing something of my own design.

HI all

I have been toying with the idea of building something new. I don’t know what yet though. The idea of a gt40 type car is very appealing but way outside my budgetary constraints. I would however like to build a car that is rear engined, say using a zeetec motor but two seater with a windscreen. I haven’t found anything like that yet. If i new anything about chassis design i would have a go myself but i could turn out awful.

Having a very nice Chevy V8 sat it my garage I have always fancied building a Cobra but seeing those Ultima GTR's yesterday at the show perhaps I have a new dream.
