They don't seem to want to just fall out do they?

Mine did after I had grounded on it enough! :lol:

If you add an extra bracket tying the trailing arm into the chassis then this mounting bolt becomes pretty much redundant anyway (although I've left mine in out of a sense of tradition and a northern belt and braces approach I seem to have developed after 5 years in Sheffield).

Details on a thread in "Maintainence and Mods", I'll try and write it up for the club mag when I get around to it too...

Will Mr SVA man be OK if I embark on this modification?

I can see no concievable reason why he shouldn't be.
